Rescue Story – 13 Stray Kittens from Tamworth

13 kittens where living as strays in an industrial area in Tamworth.

Lucky for them a good-hearted employee of one of the companies in the area was feeding them. But feeding them does not end the problem or massive amount of suffering they would endure if they could not be rescued.

If they had reached 4 months old, these babies would have started breeding increasing this stray colony to a massive amount in a very short time frame.

This employee found new employment and the company insisted the kittens should be removed. So, this lovely lady contacted a local rescue group in her area who put a call out to other rescues to help ASAP.

We quickly responded and working together with another rescue group we arranged for the kittens to be moved and held in Tamworth until transport could be arranged.

A week later a volunteer drove to Tamworth to pick up the kittens and transport them to Redcliffe.

These little ones have now all been desexed, vaccinated and microchipped and most have been rehomed to start a new life as a loving family member rather than a life fighting for survival.

Thanks to everyone involved, this was an amazing team effort with an outcome of stopping a massive amount of pain and suffering!
